REFUND POLICY
When a player withdraws from any team, competitive or house league, the player may request a refund of the registration fees paid to the BCGHA.
1. Refunds will be processed based on the original method of payment, (less any credit card fees) and may
take several weeks to be completed.
2. The City of Brampton Non-Resident fees and Tryout fees are 100% non-refundable.
3. Upon receiving the refund request the BCGHA will review the circumstances and determine if a refund is applicable.
If approved, the refund will be issued minus the fees listed below for house league and competitive programs.
4. Any request to deviate from this policy must be approved by the BCGHA Board.
5. Players requesting refunds MUST fill out the refund request form listed online and send email to the following.
House League Refunds
• Send an email to the House League Director and the Registrar to notify them of the refund request.

Competitive Refunds

• No refunds are given on purchases of apparel, jerseys, socks, or equipment.
• Competitive fees paid to team will not be refunded by the BCGHA, those fees would need to be discussed with
that individual team. The team may prorate any refund amount based on the amount of ice, and expenses incurred
to the date of withdraw from the team.

Refunds due to Injury and Illness
If a refund is required due to an Injury and/or Illness to a player, a request must be completed and submitted within 30 days of the date of the injury/illness. A copy of the doctor’s note confirming the players inability to participate may be required, along with the refund request information outlined above.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AFTER DECEMBER 1ST.
Program Cancellations
In the event that the hockey season is cancelled due to health regulations for Covid-19, a prorated refund may be granted to players. Amounts for OWHA registration, Hockey Canada Insurance, and BCGHA Administration costs shall be non-refundable after registration.
Competitive and House League program fees will be reduced or refunded on a prorated bases, to reflect actual ice time used and remaining.
