2025-2026 BCGHA COMPETITIVE (REP) TRYOUTS – ALL DIVISIONS U9 – U22
The Brampton Canadettes will be running competitive tryouts for all division levels from U9-U22.
Tryouts will be held at Century Gardens, Earnscliffe, and Greenbriar Arenas.

TRYOUT REGISTRATION:
The OWHA has mandated that ALL players attending tryouts must register in the RAMP system for tracking purposes. This needs to be completed prior to participating in tryouts. If you are a current Canadettes player, you will still need to register for the tryout package.
Please ensure that you register for the division group that you will be playing for the 2025-2026 season.
This will not trigger a release with your current organization.
Note: you register for tryouts still in the 2024-2025 season.

TRYOUT COSTS:
All fees will be collected at the sign in table for each tryout session. Payments for tryouts will be collected electronically via debit and/or credit card only, no cash will be collected. You will receive a pinnie to wear over the player jersey. Please have your player signed in, dressed, and ready for tryouts at least 30mins before each session.
U9-U18 - $20 per tryout for first 3 sessions, all additional sessions no charge
U18AA - $60 package
U22AA - $60 package, Invite Only
*Payments for U18AA & U22AA are due at registration
PERMISSION TO TRYOUT:
Current Canadettes players do not require a PTT. All players who played with another organization will be required to bring a copy of your PTT to tryouts. These forms will be collected at the sign in table prior to each tryout session, be sure to bring a copy with you.
MINIMUM TRYOUT RECOMMENDATION:
Players should tryout for one level above the team they are currently playing on if staying in the same age division. If moving up an age group, players should tryout at the same level as they are currently playing.
For example: A minor currently on the U15BB team should at least tryout for the U15A team. A major currently playing on a U13BB team should at least tryout for the U15BB team.

PLAYER RELEASE POLICY:
Effective immediately, no Rep player that has accepted an offer to play for a Brampton Canadettes Rep team for the 2025/2026 season will be granted a PTT/release by the organization unless the Executive Committee determines that exceptional circumstances exist.
EXPLANATORY NOTE: The purpose of this policy is to reinforce with players who accept spots on our Rep teams that in doing so they have made a commitment to their teammates, their coach and the organization to play the full 2025/2026 season. Players seeking to leave after the teams have been selected and begun team-building activities can severely disrupt not just the team they agreed to play for but also other Rep teams at that age group as coaches attempt to fill the openings created in their rosters. It is not fair to the players and coaches on the team which the player seek to abandon, the other candidates that were denied a position on that team at tryouts or the other teams in the organization impacted, for players to leave after having accepted a position on a rep team even if the individual player requesting a release now believes she will have a better opportunity elsewhere.
