Our learn to skate and play hockey program, available to girls 3-5 years of age, is a fun group activity that will leave your daughter smiling asking to go back to the rink again and again.

The program serves as a fun introduction to the game of hockey.  Sessions occur weekly out of one facility. A jersey and socks will be provided to each player.

Participants will be required to wear full hockey equipment.

The program utilizes fun-focused, repetitive drills aimed at developing balance and stability, fundamental skating techniques designed to grow on ice confidence with each session. Instructors use positive re-enforcement to support the development of the participants in an ideally low student to instructor ratio. Each 50-minute session starts with a team group skate. Participants then split out into groups to engage in a series of fun individual and team drills focused on developing core hockey requirements. Our progressive development model allows your Rising Star to graduate appropriately at her own speed rather than that of other participants. The introduction of pucks and basic hockey game concepts occurs only when she is ready.

It’s the perfect opportunity for your daughter to learn the game of hockey with other girls.  Register for the Canadettes Rising Stars Learn to Skate online today!
