Notice to Brampton Canadettes Members:
Peel Regional Police have informed the Brampton Canadettes Girls Hockey Association (BCGHA) and Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) that a criminal investigation is underway and criminal charges have been filed against Joshua Sammut. Pending the result of the criminal charges, Joshua Sammut is ineligible to participate in sanctioned hockey.
Both the Brampton Canadettes and the OWHA continue to cooperate with Peel Regional Police on this matter and urge anyone with information about this matter to contact the Peel Regional Police directly at the Special Victim’s Unit at 905-453-2121, ext. 3460.
