The Canadettes are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former coach and mentor Daniel Collins. Dan and his family are very special to us, having dedicated countless hours to our organization over the years.
Ask anyone who knew or played for Dan and you'll hear that he really was a great man; caring, considerate and always positive with his players, and you would never see him raise his voice. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten by those who crossed his path. Please join us in offering our sincere condolences to his wife Susan, daughters Kaitlyn and Vanessa, and the entire Collins family at this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations made to Chapman House in Owen Sound in his honour.
