Please see the following statement from Hockey Canada this evening, suspending all activities until further notice.

Hockey Canada, as a result of Covid-19, and in support of player and participant safety has cancelled all Hockey Canada sanctioned activities, including National Championships until further notice, effective Friday, March 13, 2020. All OWHA games, practices, tryouts and sanctioned activities have been cancelled until further notice effective 12:01am on Friday March 13, 2020. The 2020 OWHA provincial championships have been cancelled. League playoffs have been cancelled. OWHA Sanctioned Tournaments have been cancelled. Exhibition games and practices have been cancelled. Tryouts are not to take place until such time as approval is posted on the OWHA web site. The OWHA appreciates the magnitude of this situation and sincerely thanks the many stakeholders for their support as we all work through the logistics of this cancellation. We encourage everyone to keep themselves informed of information available through the various health departments as the medical community works diligently to manage the Coronavirus. We thank you for your attention to this bulletin and sincerely wish you well.
